Camogie has a long and distinguished history in Clarinbridge and girls have enthusiastically played in family and village games for hundreds of years. There was a camogie team in Clarinbridge convent school in 1920 and Killeeneen had a camogie team in the 1930s and early 1940s.

The Clarinbridge Camogie club was formed in 1989, with a juvenile section added in 1993. Since then the club has won titles at all levels other than senior. They attracted national attention in 2002 when they won the All-Ireland Intermediate B tournament, as well as winning the County Intermediate championship that year. To round off what was a wonderful year, the Club hosted the All Ireland Camogie Congress in the Clarinbridge Court Hotel.

In 2018 Clarinbridge won the County and Connacht Junior A Championship and the County League.

And in 2020, the Club won the Galway Intermediate Championship.

The club has over 200 members and caters for girls and women from Under-5 to Adult.
